ABOUT
The Department of English is one of the prestigious and largest departments of the college both in terms of efficient faculty and the variety of courses it offers. The Department has been playing a significant role in educating and empowering the students for more than 5 years. We provide intensive mentoring to our students both in and beyond the classroom in a wide variety of forums. Ongoing lectures, film screenings, symposia, conferences, and colloquia on interdisciplinary themes make up our calendar. It has latest teaching aids and equipments such as Language Lab, Interactive Smart Board, and Internet Facility along with Over Head Projectors etc.
VISION
"The mainstay of the vision of the Department of English is to offer students adequate communication skill to foster knowledge and a love of literature and of language. To this end, will provide in all emphasis areas with a coherent framework and relevant, well-structured course choices with analytical, pedagogical, and theoretical skills because Quality Communication for Personality, for Nationality.
MISSION

* Develop skills in identifying and analyzing phonological, morphological, lexical, and syntactic structures of English.
* Maintain a curriculum and examination structure that insures advanced study.
* Strive by example, precept, and encouragement to enable students to improve their research writing skills, to apply these skills professionally outside the classroom and to become publishing scholars.
